FAQ
What does UX-first mean?
The order of work. A regular redesign starts with “what should it look like”; ours starts with “where does the product lose users”. First the audit and the data, then the structure, and only then the visual layer. That is how a redesign improves the numbers instead of just refreshing the picture.
How is this different from a standalone UX audit?
The audit is the first stage here, but it does not end with a report — we turn its findings into new layouts ourselves. If you only need the diagnosis to work with your own designer, order a standalone UX audit; if you need the finished solution, this is the service.
How many pages or screens are included?
Up to 10 unique layouts in desktop and mobile versions — enough for a typical corporate website redesign or the key flows of an application. For a bigger product, layouts are added in blocks of 5.
Will we lose our Google rankings after the redesign?
The risk is real if URLs and content are restructured without a plan. We preserve the semantic structure of the pages, and as an add-on we prepare an SEO migration checklist for the developers: redirects, metadata, markup. Lost rankings are almost always an implementation mistake, not a design one.
What do you need from me to start?
Access to your analytics — Google Analytics, click maps, session recordings if you have them — and an understanding of why the redesign is needed: which numbers are not acceptable. Without analytics we audit on expertise and behavioural patterns, but with data the conclusions are sharper.
Can the redesign be rolled out in parts, without stopping the business?
Yes, and that is usually what we recommend: first the pages with the most traffic and the worst conversion, then the rest. A phased rollout plan with A/B validation is an add-on that lets you compare the new version against the old on live users.
What will survive from the old design?
Everything that works. Recognisable elements, successful patterns, the habits of your existing users — that is an asset, and breaking it without reason is harmful, especially in applications where people have muscle memory. The audit draws the keep-or-rebuild line, not taste.
How do I know the redesign worked?
By the metrics you name as the pain at the brief: enquiry conversion, scroll depth, time to the target action, bounce rate. Capture them before launch — and in a month or two the comparison will be honest. We will help define what exactly to measure.
How many revisions are included and what if I need more?
Two rounds per stage within 7 days of its delivery. A round is one consolidated list of comments that we work through in full. An extra cycle costs $300 and adds 3 business days.
Can you implement the redesign too?
Yes, development is a separate line of our services: we can take the build and launch ourselves, and the redesign arrives turnkey. But it is not a condition — with the UI kit, the layouts and our support, any team can implement the new design without us.
