FAQ
Do you guarantee a 90 score in PageSpeed?
No, and no contractor can honestly guarantee that: the final score depends on hosting, theme, advertising and third-party scripts on the site. We guarantee specific work and a measurable result before and after. If a metric runs into the limits of the theme or the hosting, we show it in the report and tell you what needs to change.
How long does the work take?
4 days. The first day goes into measurements and finding what slows the site down most, then two days of the work itself, and the last day is a repeat measurement and the report. If you need the speed sooner, we take your project as priority and finish within 2 days.
How much faster will the site get?
On a typical WordPress site with no prior optimization the load time usually drops two to three times and LCP moves into the green. If the site is already partly optimized the gain will be smaller — and we tell you that after the first measurement, before the work starts.
Does speed affect search rankings?
Core Web Vitals is one of Google’s ranking factors, though not the main one. The stronger effect is usually visible in user behaviour: fewer bounces on mobile and more completed orders. Speed on its own does not replace work on content and links.
What exactly do you do to speed up the site?
We take the PageSpeed report and go through its items: convert images to WebP and enable lazy loading, set up page caching and server compression, minify and defer CSS and JS, disable plugin scripts on pages where they do not run, and load fonts properly. These are the main sources of slowdown on 90% of sites.
Will the site look different?
No. We work on how the site loads, not on how it looks. After the work we go through the key pages and check that everything is in place: menus, sliders, forms and buttons.
My site is on a website builder — can you speed it up?
On Wix, Tilda and similar platforms code access is limited, so the options are narrower: realistically we can work with images, video and third-party scripts. Send us the address and we will look and tell you honestly whether there is anything worth speeding up for this money.
Will the speed hold up over time?
Yes, as long as heavy content is not added without optimization. The most common reason slowdown returns is uploading large images directly and installing new plugins. The report includes short recommendations on how to avoid that, and images can be set to compress automatically.
Will I have to change hosting?
In most cases no. But if the server itself responds slowly, no front-end optimization will make up for it — we show the server response time in numbers. Migration to a faster hosting is available as an add-on.
What access do you need?
Site admin panel with administrator rights and the hosting panel or FTP. If you have Google Analytics and Search Console, give us view access so we can compare real user data with lab measurements. Everything is agreed in writing.
