FAQ
What is an MVP and why do I need one?
It is the first version of a product with the minimum set of features that lets real users start using it and paying for it. The goal is to test the idea in practice before investing in full development. Half of all ideas change direction after an MVP, and it is better to learn that in 40 days than in a year.
What can be built in 80 hours?
Typical MVPs that fit the base: a service with sign-up and an account where users create and manage their data; a marketplace with two roles and basic search; a platform with a subscription and one core tool; an internal product with several roles. Up to 10 screens and one integration.
How long does the work take?
40 days. Week one is feature selection and the screen map, which you approve. Then four weeks of development: from week three you are clicking through the first screens. The final week is testing, launch and handover. If you need it faster, we take your project as priority and finish within 20 days.
What if the hours run out?
We see it at the screen map stage and say so right away. Then there are two options: narrow the scope to what the MVP cannot work without, or buy extra hours in blocks of 20 or 40. Experience shows it is better to launch less and sooner than more and never.
How is this different from the SaaS Starter Kit?
The SaaS Starter Kit is a ready-made solution with a standard set: sign-up, subscription, account, admin panel. If your product fits that pattern, it is cheaper and faster. MVP development is for when the product logic is non-standard and ready-made blocks do not fit. Send us your idea and we will tell you which option is yours.
Will there be a design?
Yes, but on a ready design system: a clean, modern interface without unique branding. For an MVP that is enough, because users judge the usefulness, not the visuals. If you need a unique design with audience research, there is a separate MVP UX Design service that can be done before development.
What do you build on, and can it scale?
On a modern stack any developer knows: Next.js, Node.js, Laravel, PostgreSQL and similar. The architecture is built so that after the idea is validated the product can grow without a rewrite. We tell you the stack upfront.
What if the idea does not work?
That is a normal MVP outcome — you found out in 40 days and $3000, not in a year and ten times the cost. The code and groundwork stay with you, and part of it can be reused in the next idea. We help you understand from the data what exactly did not work.
What do I get at the end?
A working product in production with sign-up, an account and one integration, the source code, the database schema, all accounts in your name, a guide and a report on hours spent. From there, development continues with us or with anyone else.
What access do you need?
A description of the idea and the target audience, examples of similar products if any, and accounts for hosting, payments and services in your name — or we help you create them. Everything is agreed upfront.
