FAQ
How is this different from Product Design and Web App?
This is the design of a mobile app specifically, up to 20 screens: different patterns, different gestures, different constraints than the web. Product Design is the full cycle of 30 screens with a design system; Web App covers interfaces used in a browser. If your product lives both on web and mobile, we shape the format at the brief.
Do you design for iOS or Android?
The base price covers one platform — the one you launch on. We design to its guidelines: Human Interface Guidelines for iOS or Material Design for Android. Adapting to the second platform is an add-on: most screens carry over, but navigation, system elements and typography need reworking.
How many screens are included and what is a screen?
Up to 20 unique screens — for a mobile app that is a complete MVP with onboarding, authorisation, the core sections and settings. Modals, sheets and toasts are not counted separately. For a bigger app, screens are added in blocks of 5.
Are interface states included?
Yes: loading, errors, empty lists, offline mode, permission requests — everything is drawn out. On mobile this matters even more than on the web: flaky networks and system permissions are part of the users everyday. One interface theme — light or dark, your choice — is included; supporting both at once is an add-on.
What do you need from me to start?
An understanding of what the app should do and for whom. The ideal input is a prototype, a technical specification or a defined MVP scope; without them we fix the flows at the brief. If the app extends an existing web product, give us access — it speeds things up.
Will you make the app icon and store materials?
Yes, as an add-on: the icon in every required size and a set of screenshots for the App Store and Google Play. It is the final touch before publishing, best done by the team that already knows the app.
Will the app pass store review with your design?
Designing to platform guidelines removes the main design-related causes of rejection: non-standard navigation, readability problems, incorrect permission requests. Full review approval also depends on code and content — that is developments territory, but there will be no surprises from our side.
We are building on Flutter or React Native — does that change anything?
No, the layouts are handed over the same way. The one thing we clarify at the brief is whether you need platform-specific behaviour for certain elements or a single look on both platforms: cross-platform teams usually choose the latter, which actually simplifies the work.
How many revisions are included and what if I need more?
Two rounds per stage within 7 days of its delivery. A round is one consolidated list of comments that we work through in full. An extra cycle costs $300 and adds 3 business days.
Can you also build the app afterwards?
Yes, we have a separate Flutter app development service — a product designed with us goes into build without a handoff stage. But it is not a condition: with the UI kit and specifications, any team can build the app without us.
