What do I get at the end?
Your domain on Cloudflare with every record migrated, working HTTPS with no warnings, WAF enabled with rules tailored to your site, protected admin login, CDN caching configured, the malware scan results and a report with instructions. The account stays yours — we only configure it.
How does Cloudflare differ from Sucuri and which should I pick?
Cloudflare sits in front of the site as a proxy: it filters traffic, serves static files through the CDN and has a free tier that covers most sites. Sucuri is stronger at scanning and cleaning an infected site, but it is paid from day one. For most projects we go with Cloudflare, and recommend Sucuri when the site has already had incidents.
Will the site go down during the DNS migration?
No. We first move every existing record, check it against the current setup, and only then change the nameservers at the registrar. The old and new DNS run in parallel for a while, so visitors notice nothing.
What happens to my email after the migration?
Mail records are migrated along with the rest and verified separately: MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC. This is included, because mail is exactly what breaks most often during a DNS move. After the switch we test sending and receiving on a real message.
Does this replace hosting?
No. The site stays on your hosting and Cloudflare becomes a shield in front of it: filtering traffic, caching static content and hiding your server real IP address from scanners.
Will the site get faster?
Noticeably faster for visitors from other countries and on repeat visits, thanks to the CDN and static caching. If the site is slow because of heavy database queries or a bloated theme, that is fixed by optimisation on the site side rather than by a CDN.
My site is already infected — will this help?
Setting up protection closes the door on new attacks, but it does not remove code that is already there. Cleanup is a separate $400 option: we clean the files and database, remove injected scripts and get the unsafe-site flag lifted in search engines.
Do I need a paid plan?
For most sites the free Cloudflare tier is enough: SSL, CDN, basic WAF and protection from simple attacks. A paid plan makes sense under sustained targeted attacks or when you need advanced rules. We tell you plainly at the start whether you need to pay.
Could the protection block real customers?
Rules are tuned to your site and run in monitoring mode for the first days. We watch who they catch and remove anything excessive. If your audience is in specific countries or behind corporate networks, we account for that from the outset.
What do you need from me to start?
Access to your domain registrar panel, access to hosting and the site admin, and a list of third-party services that use your domain. The rest — the protection level and the rules — we agree at the start.
