FAQ
What can be built in 60 hours?
Typical systems that fit the base: order or request tracking with statuses and owners; a customer database with history; warehouse stock tracking; a document or leave approval system; a staff portal with tasks. Up to 8 screens, roles, data import and one integration.
How is this different from an off-the-shelf CRM or spreadsheets?
A ready-made CRM imposes its own processes: half the features you do not need, and the one you need is missing. Spreadsheets break once more than three people work in them. Your own system does exactly what you need, nothing extra, and grows with the business. If your processes are standard, we say so honestly: go with the ready-made option.
How long does the work take?
30 days. Week one is the process breakdown and the screen map, which you approve. Weeks two and three are development, and from week two your team already sees the first screens. Week four is testing with your people, data import and handover. If you need it faster, we take your project as priority and finish within 15 days.
What if the hours run out?
We see it at the screen map stage and say so right away. Then there are two options: narrow the scope to the essentials and launch that, or buy extra hours in blocks of 10 or 20. Most often the core gets launched first and the rest is added after the team has worked with it.
What do you build on?
Modern web technologies any developer knows: Laravel, Next.js, Node.js and similar. Nothing exotic, no lock-in to a specific platform. We choose the stack for the task and tell you upfront, so you know who to look for if you ever want to develop the system without us.
Where will it run and what does hosting cost?
On your server or in the cloud under your account. For a team of up to 50 people a VPS at $10-20 a month is enough. Server setup is part of the package; payment is yours and goes directly to the provider.
Can our data be moved over from Excel?
Yes, initial data import from spreadsheets is included in the base. The spreadsheets need to be in a more or less consistent format. If the data is scattered across dozens of files with different structures, it has to be tidied up first — that is separate work, which we estimate after a look.
Can the system be developed further?
Yes, and that is the normal scenario: you launch the core, the team works, new needs appear. The code is fully yours, and we take on further development — in blocks of hours or as separate tasks. The architecture is built from the start so that adding screens is simple.
What do I get at the end?
A working system on your server with imported data, configured roles and one integration. Plus the source code, the database schema, a guide for the team and a report on hours spent.
What access do you need?
A description of your processes or a person who knows them and can answer questions, samples of your data or spreadsheets, access to the server or hosting and to the service we integrate with. Everything is agreed upfront.
