FAQ
Why do I need this if I have server logs?
Server logs cannot see errors in the user’s browser — and that is half of all failures: a form did not submit, a button did not respond, a page froze. Besides, in logs you have to hunt for errors, while here they arrive in your chat on their own, with context: who, where, after what.
How long does the work take?
3 days. Day one is connecting the frontend and backend, source maps and environment separation. Day two is alerts and filters. Day three is testing with real errors and the guide. If you need it faster, we take your project as priority and do it in 2 days.
Sentry or Bugsnag — which one to choose?
For most projects, Sentry: a wider free plan, more integrations, plus session replay and performance monitoring. Bugsnag is stronger for mobile apps. If you already have an account with either, we work with it. If not, we advise upfront.
Is it free?
Both services have free plans that cover a site or app with modest traffic. We configure filters and sampling so you stay within the limits. If your project generates more events, we tell you before connecting.
Will you fix the errors?
No, this service is about making them visible. Fixing is separate work, and after the setup you will have a prioritised list you can hand to us or your own developer. A first-week error review with a fix plan is available as an add-on.
What will I see when something breaks?
A message in your chat or inbox: what the error is, how many users it affected, on which page and in which browser. The link opens the full stack trace, the user’s actions before the failure and their device details. Similar errors are grouped, so you see one problem, not a hundred messages.
Will it slow down the site?
No. The tracking script weighs a few dozen kilobytes and loads asynchronously. Data is sent only when an error occurs, in the background.
Does it work with WordPress?
Yes. We connect it through a plugin or directly in the theme: catching PHP errors on the backend and JavaScript errors in the browser. Especially useful for WooCommerce stores, where a failure at checkout costs money directly.
What do I do with errors I do not understand?
The guide explains how to tell critical from noise and what to do with each type. If an error is unclear, forward the link to us or your developer — all the context needed for diagnosis is already there.
What access do you need?
Access to the project code or the site admin panel, access to the server or hosting for the backend, and a Sentry or Bugsnag account if you already have one. Everything is agreed upfront.
