FAQ
How does a ready-made solution differ from building from scratch?
Receiving events, the queue, retries, templates and an admin panel are needed by every notification bot and work the same way everywhere. We take our own core, already running on other projects, and adapt it to your events. Building the same thing from scratch costs roughly three times more and takes about three times longer. The ready-made solution costs $700 and launches in 6 days.
Who needs this?
Anyone who waits for something important in an inbox or an admin panel and finds out about it late. A new request from the site, a payment, a cancelled booking, low stock, a server error, a new review. The notification reaches a phone in seconds and the response follows immediately.
How does the bot learn about events?
Your site or app sends the event to the bot webhook as a plain HTTP request. For WordPress, WooCommerce and most common platforms this is configured without code. If you have a custom product, your developer sends the event from your side following our instructions.
How is this different from the Push / SMS / Email Notifications service?
That service at $800 builds notification channels into your product: emails to customers, SMS, browser push. Here you get a separate bot for internal notifications to your team: its own queue, templates, delivery history and retries, all independent of your product.
How is this different from the sales bot?
The sales bot at $1300 works with the customer: catalog, cart, order request. The notification bot works in the opposite direction — it sells nothing and instead delivers your site events to the right people. Both can run on the same server and the same account.
What is the bot built on?
Python with aiogram or Node.js with grammY, a Postgres database and a delivery queue with retries. The stack is common and open, with no closed licences and no platform lock-in: the code is fully yours, and we take on further development and new event types whenever you need them.
How many event types are included?
Up to five event types with a dedicated template for each — for example a new request, a payment, a cancellation, an error, a review. Each additional type with its own template is $120. In the base version every connected recipient sees the same stream of events; routing by role is configured separately for $350.
What happens if Telegram is unreachable?
The event stays in the queue and is retried once the connection is back. Nothing is lost: every event is stored in the database and failed attempts are visible in the admin panel with the reason.
Will I be able to change the notification texts myself?
Yes. Templates, recipients, event types and retry settings are managed through the admin panel with no code. A template is written as plain text with variables the bot fills in from the event. After handover you receive the credentials, the repository and a step-by-step guide.
What do you need from me to start?
The list of events worth notifying about, the list of recipients or working groups, server access, a bot created in BotFather, and access to the site or app that will send the events. The rest — template format and delivery rules — we put together with you at the start.
