FAQ
Why does a small business need an employer brand?
A small business needs it more than a corporation: candidates know at least something about a big company, and nothing about you. Your job posting, careers page and social media are the only things a person uses to decide whether to apply. That decision now takes a minute — and you lose it not to competitors for customers, but to competitors for people.
How is this different from a regular visual identity?
A visual identity speaks to customers, an employer brand speaks to candidates, and they talk about different things. A customer cares what you sell; a candidate cares what it is like to work for you, what you pay and who they will sit next to. The kit is built on your existing identity but carries its own messages and materials.
What exactly will I receive?
A document with your employer value proposition, visual rules for HR communications, job posting and team post templates in Figma and Canva, a careers page design layout, a company presentation for candidates in PowerPoint and PDF, and a welcome book for new hires. Every source file is yours.
Do I need a finished visual identity first?
Preferably yes: the kit is built on your logo, colours and typography. If there is no identity or it has aged badly, start with the Brand Identity Pack — otherwise the HR materials will look different from everything else you produce.
Do you write the job postings themselves?
We provide the structure and framework wording: how to describe a role, what goes in the first paragraph, how to talk about pay and conditions. Your HR writes the specific postings on that framework — it is faster and more accurate, because they know the details of each role.
What do you need from me to start?
An hour-long brief with the person who knows why people join you and why they leave — usually the owner or your HR. It also helps to connect us with two or three employees for short conversations: their words about the company are almost always stronger than the official wording.
Is the careers page on my website included?
The design layout is. Building and launching it on your site is available as an add-on — the page then arrives turnkey and you do not need to find a developer separately.
How do I measure the effect of this kit?
Through your hiring funnel: the number and quality of applications, the view-to-application conversion, and the share of candidates who arrive at the interview already informed. Take baseline numbers before launch — you will have something to compare against within a month or two.
How many revisions are included and what if I need more?
Two rounds within 7 days of delivery. A round is one consolidated list of comments that we work through in full. An extra cycle costs $120 and adds 1 business day.
What comes after the kit?
Put the materials to work: refresh your postings, publish the careers page, start running social media on the templates. If you need a team photoshoot or video, they come as add-ons — and they noticeably strengthen trust in the whole kit.
