FAQ
How is a SaaS UX Audit different from a regular UX audit?
In depth and focus. A regular UX audit reviews a website or landing page against usability criteria. A SaaS audit works with a subscription product: onboarding, activation, retention, billing — and ties every issue to product metrics. That is why it is deeper and more expensive.
What will I get as a result?
A structured report: issues with an explanation of which metric each one affects, prioritization, and specific recommendations on how to fix them. Plus an online call with a presentation of the results and answers to your team’s questions.
How much of the product is included in the base price?
Onboarding, the main scenario, and 3–4 key modules — up to 15 screens in total. For most SaaS products this is enough to cover the path from registration to a paid subscription. We audit additional modules as a separate block.
Do you need access to our analytics?
Preferably: data from Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA, or your internal analytics makes the conclusions more accurate. If there is no product analytics, we will run the audit based on expert evaluation, and can set up event tracking as an add-on service.
Do you look at the metrics or at the interface?
At both. Metrics show where users drop off, the interface shows why. It is exactly the “number + cause” combination that distinguishes this audit from a subjective design review.
Users sign up but do not stay. Will you find the cause?
This is the most common request. We break down the first sessions step by step: how many steps to the first value, what distracts, where the product demands effort before it delivers results. The report will contain both the diagnosis and the fix plan.
Who will conduct the audit?
A UX designer with hands-on experience designing SaaS products — the same level of specialists who build complete products at our studio. We do not delegate audits to juniors: the value of the service is in the quality of the expertise.
Can you fix the issues you find yourselves?
Yes: selectively — a redesign of individual screens as an add-on service, or comprehensively — the “Redesign (UX-first)” service. If you order a redesign after the audit, we credit the audit cost toward the price.
How soon can you start?
We usually take a project on within 2–3 business days. From you: a test account of the product, access to analytics if available, and a short brief on your business goals and current metrics.
What format will the report be in?
A document with screenshots of the problem areas, explanations, links to the affected metrics, and recommendations. Issues are marked by priority — the report can be used as a backlog for the team.
